The genus Cymbidium includes orchids native to the Himalayas, China, Japan, and tropical areas of Asia. This genus includes about forty botanical species and many hybrids, often derived from Chinese and Indian botanical species.

Grown in temperate conditions, they adapt well to our climates and can be grown outdoors for a large part of the year.
